Dosing pumps for metered feeding of polymers
|
Rishabh pumps are high precision positive displacement pumps as per API675 International code for controlled volume pumps. The discharge can be varied from zero to maximum capacity of about 10,000 litres/hr based on pump model and stroke length. Our pump design makes it an ideal flow control element in chemical process for feeding chemicals with a High Degree of accuracy, under any discharge pressure conditions. They are of robust design, unmatched quality and offer considerable savings due to small space requirements, low installation cost, and minimum maintenance.
These are widely used for metered feeding of coagulants, flocculants and other specialty chemicals. |

Rishabh Automatic Dosing System is a fully self contained unit which provides for dispersion, solution preparation, metered dosing and online dilution. The unit requires only connection of power and water services (dry air in optional cases) and is designed to ensure complete dispersion and dissolution of powder flocculants in water without the formation of lumps. The powder flocculant is fed from a storage hopper via a constant rate, volumetric screw feeder to the eductor which uses vaccum to disperse the powder polymer effectively into the water which is then mixed in the solution preparation tank and after complete dissolution, it is transferred to a storage/ageing tank. The sequence control is by level probes and timers and equipment is fully automatic. The capacity varies from 10 kgs to 200 kgs powder flocculant per day.

Eductors for proper dispersions
|
These are devices made of HDPE which generate a vacuum once water is passed through them, thereby enabling easy and good dispersion of flocculant powder/other specialty chemicals into water so that easy and good solution making is possible.
Eductors are used to prepare the solution of powder grade flocculants up to a capacity 50 kg/hr. The advantages of eductor is that there is no lump formation, better consistency of solution making is achieved and there is lesser wastage of flocculants/ specialty chemicals.
Depending on the model, it works at minimum water pressure of 0.8 to 3 Bar and maximum water pressure of 1.7 bar to 8 bar with Suction capacity ranging from 0.5 to 50 kg/hr.

This apparatus consists of 2/4/6 stirrers for conducting the standard Jar test for laboratory evaluation of coagulants and flocculants.
Laboratory Flocculator has been specially designed for use in water & chemical treatment plants and it enables the plant operator to correctly estimate the dosing of alum, other coagulants and flocculants for treatment of water and thus avoid wastage of costly chemicals.
Chemists/Operators in Water Works, many a times face problems of regulating proper dosage of chemicals in the plant due to variations of the inlet water quality. Underdosing results in plant being disturbed and overdosing is normally done to avoid variations in the output of the equipment. This equipment allows the operator to simulate plant conditions in the laboratory enabling easy optimization of dosage.
This equipment is also essential to do comparative study in laboratory on the performance of various chemicals on the water/ waste water to be treated.

Online Turbidity Control System
|
Turbidity is a function of the light transmitted/absorbed by water having suspended solids. However it has various limitations and is not accurate enough. For example, 2 waters having same turbidity may require different quantity of coagulant dosages because of difference in charge density on the suspended particles. Thus, measurement of streaming current/charge on the suspended particles helps accurately determine the charge demand to neutralize suspended solids and optimize coagulation. The system for online control of turbidity consists of Online measurement of streaming current, solution preparation of coagulant, metered dosing of coagulant based on output from streaming current monitor, online dilution of coagulant and online turbidity monitor (optional) to measure turbidity of clean water.

Online Water & Waste Water Charge Monitoring & Control System
|
The instrument uses streaming current measurement to maintain proper electrokinetic charge in the treated water. Effectively it responds to change in raw water characteristics i.e. turbidity, color ,PH etc. .This allows operator to make necessary adjustment of coagulant feed to maintain for treatment. The automation saves the cost of chemicals / coagulant by preventing overdosing. |
